About Me

Hello.

My name is Stephen White. I have several years of experience working in K-12 and higher education settings. I hold a Masters degree in Instructional Design and Learning Technology.

I currently serve as the Lead Instructional Designer at Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina. In this role, I work with faculty members to design and redesign online courses; assist in the development of new and existing online programs; and ensure the technological and pedagogical effectiveness of online learning.

My background and experience help guide and inform my instructional design process. This process revolves around the analysis of learning objectives and the organization/development of learning experiences that are meaningful, engaging, and effective. I have applied these principles to the learning experiences and artifacts found in my portfolio.

I live in Abbeville, South Carolina, with my wife and our two children. When I'm not working you can probably find me reading, enjoying a good cup of coffee, watching baseball, or going on adventures with my family.
